The Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun, invites applications for various posts to strengthen wildlife conservation and management in India. Below are the key details for the positions of Assistant Grade-III, Junior Stenographer, and Lab Attendant.
1. Assistant Grade-III
- Pay Level: Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)
- Category: ST (1 Post)
- Qualification:
- 10+2/XII or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 27 years

Examination Scheme:
- Tier-I:
- Written Examination (MCQ-Based, 100 questions)
- Components:
- General Awareness (25 questions)
- Reasoning Ability (25 questions)
- Mathematical Ability (25 questions)

- Duration: 2 hours
- Tier-II:
- Typing Test (Qualifying)
2. Junior Stenographer
- Pay Level: Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
- Category: UR (1 Post), OBC (1 Post)
- Qualification:
- 10+2/XII or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m. and typing speed of 40 w.p.m. (English) or 35 w.p.m. (Hindi) on a computer.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 27 years
Examination Scheme:
- Tier-I:
- Written Examination (MCQ-Based, 100 questions)
- Components:
- General Awareness (25 questions)
- Reasoning Ability (25 questions)
- Mathematical Ability (25 questions)
- Language Test (English/Hindi) (25 questions)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Tier-II:
- Stenography and Typing Test (Qualifying)
3. Lab Attendant
- Pay Level: Level-1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)
- Category: UR (3 Posts), OBC (1 Post), ST (1 Post)
- Qualification:
- 12th (Science) with 60% marks
OR - 10th with 60% marks and a 2-year diploma in Library Science/Lab Technology/IT from a recognized institute.
- 12th (Science) with 60% marks
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 28 years
Examination Scheme:
- Tier-I:
- Written Examination (MCQ-Based, 100 questions)
- Components:
- General Awareness (25 questions)
- Reasoning Ability (25 questions)
- Mathematical Ability (25 questions)
- Language Test (English/Hindi) (25 questions)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Tier-II:
- Skill/Trade Test (Qualifying)
- Topics: Basic lab equipment, computer skills, safety, and precautions.
