(NIACL), a leading Public Sector General Insurance Company, has released a recruitment notification for 550 Administrative Officers (AO) Scale-I posts in Generalist and Specialist streams. 🔹 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Candidate must be:

• A citizen of India, OR

• A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, OR

• A Tibetan refugee who came before 01.01.1962, OR

• A person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

• Minimum: 21 years

• Maximum: 30 years
  (Candidates must be born between 02.08.1995 and 01.08.2004)

• Age relaxation applicable as per rules (SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, etc.)

Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2025)

• Generalists: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).

• Specialists: Specific qualifications required depending on discipline (Engineering, Law, Accounts, Health, IT, Business Analytics, CS, Actuarial Science).

👉 Candidates must hold valid degree certificates before 01.08.2025.

🔹 Salary & Benefits

• Basic Pay: ₹50,925/- in the scale of ₹50,925 – 96,765

• Gross Salary: Approx. ₹90,000/- per month (in metros)

🔹 Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in three phases:

1. Preliminary Exam (Online – Objective Test)

   • English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude (100 Marks, 60 mins)

2. Main Exam (Online – Objective + Descriptive Test)

   • Generalists: Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude (200 Marks)

   • Specialists: Above + Professional Knowledge Test (200 Marks)

   • Descriptive Test (English): Letter & Essay Writing (30 Marks)

3. Interview

   • Weightage: Online Exam 75% + Interview 25%
