IIT Roorkee Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for Various Group B & C Posts
The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has released an official notification (Advertisement No. IITR/Rect Cell/2025/2, Dated: 27.02.2025) inviting online applications for various Group B and Group C posts. Eligible candidates can apply online from 28th February 2025 to 7th April 2025 on the official website www.iitr.ac.in.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

| 1 | Junior Technical Superintendent | M.Sc. (Electronics/Computer Science/Chemistry/Physics) OR B.Tech/B.E. OR B.Sc. with 2 years of relevant experience OR MCA with 1 year of experience. Knowledge of computer applications is required. |
| 2 | Assistant Security Officer (Female) | Graduate with 4 years of relevant experience. Should have military/NCC and firefighting training. Must be able to drive light vehicles/motorcycles and handle firearms. |
| 3 | Junior Engineer (Civil) | Diploma (3 years) in Civil Engineering, preferably first class, with 3 years of relevant experience. |
| 4 | Junior Technical Superintendent (Sanitation) | B.Sc. + Diploma in Public Health and Sanitation OR Senior Secondary (10+2) in Science + Diploma in Public Health and Sanitation + 3 years of relevant experience. |
| 5 | Junior Superintendent (Rajbhasha) | Postgraduate degree in Hindi with English as a subject OR Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and postgraduation in English. At least 1-year translation experience is required. |
| 6 | Junior Superintendent | Master’s degree OR bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of computer applications and secretarial practices. |

Application Fee

Candidates applying for multiple posts must pay an additional fee for each application.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
- OBC-NCL candidates: 3 years relaxation
- PwBD candidates: Additional 10 years relaxation
- Central Government civil servant employees:
- Group B posts: Up to 5 years relaxation
- Group C posts: Up to 40 years relaxation
- IIT Roorkee employees: age relaxation up to 50 years, based on eligibility and service conditions.
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on a written/skill examination. The details of the selection process will be updated on the official website of IIT Roorkee.
