BITM Recruitment 2025 Overview:

BITM (Birla Industrial and Technological Museum), a unit of the National Council of Science Museums under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has released recruitment notifications (Advertisement Nos. 1/2025, 2/2025, and 3/2025). Eligible candidates can apply online for various posts.

Vacancy Details

The following positions are open for recruitment:

1. Technical Assistant ‘A’ (03 Posts)

• Pay Matrix: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Level-5)
• Total Emoluments: ₹58,944/- per month
• Essential Qualification: Diploma (3 years) in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science or NIELIT ‘A’ Level Diploma / BCA/Computer Science
• Scope of Work: Development, maintenance, repair of models/exhibits, programming, software development, and interactive digital graphic development.

2. Technician ‘A’ (08 Posts)

• Pay Matrix: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-2)
• Total Emoluments: Varies by location (₹33,814 to ₹38,483 per month)
• Essential Qualification: ITI Certificate in relevant trade + experience as required
• Scope of Work: Operation, repair, fabrication, and maintenance of exhibits and equipment.

3. Office Assistant (Grade-III) (03 Posts)

• Pay Matrix: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 (Level-2)
• Total Emoluments: ₹36,493 to ₹38,483 per month
• Essential Qualification: Higher Secondary or equivalent + Typing Speed (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi)
• Scope of Work: Typing, file maintenance, ticket issuance, purchase handling, and record-keeping.

4. Junior Stenographer (01 Post)

• Pay Matrix: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level-4)
• Total Emoluments: ₹52,173 per month
• Essential Qualification: Higher Secondary or equivalent + Shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m.
• Scope of Work: Stenographic services, record-keeping, and office support.

Age Limit

• Technical Assistant & Technician: Maximum 35 years as of 12.03.2025
• Office Assistant & Junior Stenographer: Maximum 25 years as of 12.03.2025
• Age relaxation: As per government rules for reserved categories.

• Fees can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, and Credit/Debit Cards.
• Non-refundable & non-adjustable under any circumstances.

2. Required documents (self-attested scanned copies) must be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format:
   • Educational Certificates (up to 200 KB)
   • Recent Passport-size Photograph (up to 100 KB)
   • Signature (up to 100 KB)
3. Submit the application before 12.03.2025 to avoid last-minute issues.
4. No changes are allowed after submission.
5. Admit cards will be sent via email.
