Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech)/M.Tech or equivalent in geophysics from a recognized university or institution (UGC recognized).

Must qualify in the Computer Proficiency Test as per G.O.Ms.No.26, G.A. (Ser-B) Dept., Dt: 24.02.2023.
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 42 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, BC, EWS, PBD, ex-servicemen, and other categories as per rules.
Reservation Details

Vertical Reservation: SC, ST, BC, EWS

Selection Process

Written Examination (Objective Type, Offline OMR-based)

Paper-I: General Studies & Mental Ability – 150 Marks

Paper-II: Geophysics – 150 Marks

Total: 300 Marks (Negative marking: 1/3rd per wrong answer)

Computer Proficiency Test – Qualifying in nature.
