AP Health Medical & Family Welfare Department Posts Notification 2025

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, under the Health Medical & Family Welfare Department, has announced a recruitment drive to fill vacant posts of Lab Technician Grade-II, Female Nursing Orderly (FNO), and Sanitary Attender cum Watchman (SAW) in the erstwhile East Godavari District. Below are the detailed guidelines and information regarding the recruitment process as per Notification No.01/2024, dated 30.12.2024.

Vacant Posts and Educational Qualifications

The following table outlines the posts available, their respective roster points, and educational qualifications:

Lab Technician Grade II 3 I-54 BC-A(G), I-56 PH-OH(G), I-58 ST(W) – Intermediate + Diploma/Bachelor/Master Degree in Medical Lab Technology.
– Intermediate (Vocational) with one-year apprenticeship in a government-affiliated institution.
– Must be registered with the Andhra Pradesh Para Medical Board with up-to-date renewal.
Female Nursing Orderly (FNO) 20 Refer to the detailed list in the notification. – 10th class or equivalent qualification.
– Must have a First Aid Certificate.
Sanitary Attender cum Watchman (SAW) 38 Refer to the detailed list in the notification. – 10th class or equivalent qualification.

 


Age Limit

Category Age Relaxation
General Upper age limit: 42 years as of 01.07.2023.
SC/ST/BC/EWS Candidates 5 years.
Differently Abled Candidates 10 years.
Ex-Servicemen 3 years in addition to the length of service in the armed forces.
Maximum Age Limit 52 years with all relaxations combined.

Application Fee

Category Fee
General/BC Candidates ₹500
SC/ST/Physically Challenged Candidates ₹200

Applicants must enclose a demand draft (DD) in favor of the district medical and health officer of the concerned district.


Selection Process

The selection will be based on a total of 100 marks distributed as follows:

  1. Educational Qualification (75 marks):
    75% of marks are allocated for aggregate scores obtained in all qualifying exams.
  2. Experience (Up to 15 marks):
    • Weightage for contract/outsourcing/honorarium basis, including COVID-19 service.
    • Marks per six months of service:
      • Tribal Area: 2.5 marks.
      • Rural Area: 2.0 marks.
      • Urban Area: 1.0 mark.
  3. Additional Experience Weightage:
    • COVID-19 services: 0.8 marks per completed month (less than six months).
    • Original service certificates must be submitted for validation.
  4. Additional Marks (10 marks):
    Up to 1 mark per completed year after acquiring the required qualification.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted in person during the specified dates. Ensure to enclose all necessary documents, certificates, and the DD for the application fee. Incomplete or late submissions will not be entertained.
